This website is operated by Giacomo Ialenti, trading as ServiceKPI Analytics, based in Hamburg, Germany. This policy explains what personal data is processed when you visit the site, contact me or book a call, why, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

In short
This website sets cookies and runs analytics only with your consent. The one exception is a small record of your cookie choice, which is needed to respect that choice. There is no advertising, no contact form, no user account and no payment function. Fonts and images are served from this site itself.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, provided by Cloudflare, Inc. (USA). When you open a page, the hosting provider automatically processes technical data that your browser sends, such as your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the browser type and the referring page. This is necessary to deliver the site securely and to protect it against misuse.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, my legitimate interest in running a secure and functioning website. Cloudflare acts as a processor on my behalf. Transfers to the USA rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
Cookies and consent
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you allow analytics. "Accept all" and "Reject all" are equally easy to choose, and nothing is switched on in advance. Google Analytics is not loaded and no Google cookie is set until you accept. If you reject, or ignore the banner, no analytics run.
Your choice is saved in your browser and I ask again after 12 months, or sooner if the cookies used on this site change. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time.

Storing your choice is technically necessary to honour it, so it does not require consent (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). Everything else on this list requires your consent under § 25(1) TDDDG.
Google Analytics 4 (only with your consent)
If you allow analytics, I use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. It shows which pages are read, how visitors reach the site, and roughly where they are and which device they use, so I can improve the content. It sets the cookies listed above and receives a pseudonymous identifier for your browser.
Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Google signals and ad personalization are switched off, so the data is not used for advertising. Event data is kept for a limited period set in the analytics account, never longer than 14 months. A data processing agreement with Google is in place.
The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. Giving consent is voluntary, and refusing has no disadvantage for you. You can withdraw consent at any time under Cookie settings, which also deletes the Google cookies from your browser. Withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before it. Google may process data in the USA, and the transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
Contact by email
If you write to me, I process your email address, your name if you give it, and the content of your message, in order to reply and, where relevant, prepare a proposal. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for steps taken at your request before a contract, and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, my legitimate interest in answering enquiries. Email providers that receive and store messages for me act as processors.
Booking a call
The button to book a free call leads to a booking page hosted by Cal.com. Once you open it, you leave this website, and Cal.com's own privacy policy applies to what you enter there. Data you provide when booking, such as your name, email address, your answers to the booking questions and the time you choose, is processed by Cal.com and passed to me so that I can hold the call. The calendar and video tools used to run the call may also process this data.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, as the booking is a step taken at your request before a possible contract.
Who receives your data
I do not sell or rent personal data. Data is shared only with the service providers named above, who process it on my behalf where needed: the hosting provider, email providers, the booking, calendar and video tools, and, only with your consent, Google for analytics. Where required, this happens under data processing agreements.
International data transfers
Some of these providers are located outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the USA. Where personal data is transferred there, I rely on appropriate safeguards under the GDPR, such as an adequacy decision like the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long data is kept
I keep enquiries and contract-related correspondence for as long as needed to answer your request, deliver any agreed services and meet legal and tax obligations under German law, which can require keeping business correspondence and invoices for up to 10 years. Data that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymized. Analytics data is kept as described in the Google Analytics section above.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- request access to the personal data I hold about you
- request correction of inaccurate data
- request erasure of your data, where applicable
- request restriction of processing, where applicable
- object to processing based on legitimate interest
- request data portability, where applicable
- withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
- lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, such as the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Der Hamburgische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit)

I may update this policy, for example when the tools behind this site change or the law does. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
